Clean Visuals: Overcoming AI Image Text Failures via Detection Retries
How TryScript’s secondary image analysis detects and retries visual renders to prevent messy garbled text on your video cards.
The Issue with Garbled Text in AI Visuals
AI image generation models (such as Flux and Pixazo SDXL) are incredible at rendering artistic assets, landscapes, and character portraits. However, they frequently struggle with text. If a prompt mentions a sign, book, or complex label, the model often outputs garbled, nonsensical characters that look highly unprofessional.
For creators aiming for AdSense monetization and clean branding, these textual errors look messy and damage the credibility of their videos.
TryScript’s Automated Text-Free Safeguard
To guarantee clean, professional visuals, TryScript implements an automated text-free policy inside its image generation pipeline. When the background worker receives a completed image from the GPU generation endpoint, it does not immediately save it. Instead, it executes a secondary OCR (Optical Character Recognition) check:
[Generate Image] --> [Run OCR Check] --> Text Detected?
|
+-- Yes (Up to MAX_RETRY_IMAGE_HAVE_TEXT) --> [Regenerate]
|
+-- No --> [Save Image Asset]
How the Text Detection Retry Loop Works
- Initial Render: The task worker generates the image based on the storyboard prompt.
- Text Scanning: A lightweight, high-speed vision script scans the image for text characters.
- Smart Retrying: If text is detected, the script automatically alters the generation seed, appends a strong negative prompt (e.g., "no text, no words, no signs"), and retries the render.
- Cap Protection: The loop repeats up to the limit defined in your
.envconfiguration file underMAX_RETRY_IMAGE_HAVE_TEXT(defaulting to 3 retries).
This automated safeguard ensures that your videos maintain clean, professional visuals without you having to manually audit and regenerate every single slide.
