How TryScript's Cost Tooltip Helps You Plan Your Budget
Learn how the interactive cost tooltip on your channel details page breaks down the math behind daily automation costs.
Understanding Your Channel's Daily Automation Budget
For creators managing multiple automated channels, keeping track of credit costs is essential. If you don't know exactly how many credits your daily uploads will consume, it is impossible to plan your budget or scale your channel network.
However, calculating these costs manually can be tricky. TryScript factors in several variables, including the number of topics per day, the number of video variants per topic, and your selected visual and audio modes.
Rather than overwhelming you with messy math formulas on the main screen, TryScript uses a clean, interactive tooltip to explain your daily costs.
The Interactive Cost Breakdown Tooltip
Inside your Channel Details page (/dashboard/channels/[id]), you will see your estimated Daily Credit Cost presented as a single, bold number. Next to this cost is a small FAQ/Info icon.
Hovering over or tapping this icon reveals a helpful popup that explains the exact breakdown:
- The Daily Cost Formula: It displays the formula used to calculate your costs:
Daily Cost = (Topics Per Day) * ((Videos Per Topic * (Video Quality Cost + Audio Quality Cost)) + 2) - Base Research Cost: It explains that a base cost of 2 credits is charged per topic to cover the initial trend research, search indexing, and script writing.
- Model Cost breakdown: It lists the exact credit requirements of the visual (SDXL, Storytelling, or Cinematic) and audio (Local or ElevenLabs) modes you configured for the channel.
This interactive helper keeps your dashboard clean and uncluttered while ensuring you have complete transparency over your credit usage at all times. You can adjust your keywords or video quality modes and instantly see how it fits your daily budget before launching your automation.
